Where do the carbs go after being blocked?Updated 8 months ago
Stabiliser turns fast digesting carbs and sugars into slow digesting foods, so that the tasty foods we love become like lower Glycemic Index foods. A bit like turning simple carbs into complex ones (e.g. pasta vs quinoa). Any undigested carbs and sugars go through to the microbiome, similar to a prebiotic, nourishing the “good bacteria” in your gut.
Let's go into more details:
The main ingredient Reducose® (aka white mulberry extract) reduces the carb-related enzyme functions. It‘s mimiking the carbs and so „blocking“ the enzymatic function and a certain amount or different carbs, up to 40%, depending on mixture of protein, fat and carbs, are not absorbed, so transported further to the colon.
This way, people can benefit from its blood sugar stabilising properties (less blood glucose) as well as from the following synergistic effects:
- It’s stimulating the Ilial brake, so people will feel satiated earlier.
- The microbiom benefits from the presence of these carbs as it´s „using“ them as food (= supporting normal gut health functions)
- It promotes putting the body in fat burning mode (hello to all ketodieters ;-)).
