Why is the Collagen Activator tasting sweet and why are you using stevia?Updated 8 months ago

We are using a very low amount (18 mg in total) of natural derived Stevia extract which is much lower than the recommended ADI value of 4 milligramms per Kg bodyweight.

Did you know that the major part of sweet taste comes from the amino acid glycin which is a crucial part of the Collagen Activator and its efficiency?
 
We are trying to formulate our products by not using artificial sweeteners - because of the very specific formulation with algae powder (which tastes fishy) and the amino acid blend  we needed to balance the taste.
Stevia was - at the end of our product development process - the most appropriate natural sweetener we could find.
 
Basically, Stevia extract is safe for use - when using it properly and under the rule: as little as possible, as much as necessary.
 
We are constantly reformulating our products to ensure the best efficacy and safe consumption - with little compromise on taste.
